Interestingly, the authors chose to write about Muslim terrorists without having Muslim terrorists be the ultimate antagonists. What fire bolt from the galactic dark shattered the Earth eons ago, and now hides in that remote cleft in the southwest U.
Shorter, in this case, would have been sweeter. A sense of drama and excitement. I read everything these guys right as soon as it comes out.
