I do that my giving them to an adequate lvl 1 char with the right class and ID to make them evolve at 10, 35, 50 and and then I let them starve, so they keep their form, and have to feed them by another char if I mess their sync. What I meant was that I did ruins runs with a lvl char with non legit items, trainre also without any drop modifying patches.
